Job: Spiritual Wellness Visitor

Duties: Visit residents of nursing homes

Time commitment: As a volunteer it will be up to the individual. Consistency is key. Current visits are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 p.m. for a duration of one to two hours.

Skills needed: Must have a heart for seniors, the sick or disabled, and those who may have lost hope. Being a patient listener is important, understanding that you may be the only visitor outside of staff in a long time. Being prepared to pray out loud and reading Scripture is very beneficial.
