Congregation-Wide Study: Mosaic of Hope
October 2026
During the month of October, we’ll be embarking on a congregation-wide initiative to grow in HOPE! As our guide, we’ll be using a book, Mosaic of Hope, written by Pastor Steve Roth, a friend of Pastor Chris’ (and pastor to his parents). October sermons, Discipleship Hour classes, and small group discussions will be based on the chapters in Mosaic of Hope.
Everyone is strongly encouraged to order a book to follow along. We’ll even have a daily reading schedule. Books are $10 each. Please sign up here. Books will be distributed in September.
Confirmation Program 2026 - 2027

Register Now: Confirmation Classes
A new Confirmation year is just around the corner! Confirmation gives students the opportunity to grow deeper in their faith, ask questions, and develop faith habits that will last a lifetime.
Our program is open to all students — church membership is not required!
First Communion: for students in 6th grade and older and takes place during Lent. Students and parents explore the meaning and practice of Holy Communion.
Catechism: for students in 7th grade and older and is a two-year program focused on learning and exploring the teachings of our faith through discussion, activities, and hands-on learning. Students complete the program by participating in the Rite of Confirmation.

Golf Tournament

Join fellow golfers for a fun afternoon on the course to benefit the music program at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
All proceeds from this tournament help strengthen and grow our music program - supporting guest musicians, upgrading equipment, maintaining tech systems, and creating meaningful hospitality events that enrich worship and fellowship.
