Journey to the Cross
Starts February 25
Wednesdays | 4 - 6 PM
You’re invited to a powerful, interactive Lenten experience for all ages. Walk through the story of Jesus’ journey to the cross as we reflect on the lives of key biblical figures such as - Mary, Judas, Peter, and Barabbas - and consider what their stories reveal about sin, repentance, grace, and Christ’s saving love.
This come-and-go experience will be offered every Wednesday from 4:00–6:00 PM, beginning February 25. Join us as we prepare our hearts in this Lenten season.
We are still seeking volunteers to help make this meaningful experience possible.
Please contact Dale Jones at djones@shlutheran.org if you feel called to serve.

First Communion Classes
See Below
Preparing for your child’s First Communion is an exciting and meaningful step in their faith journey and it’s not something you have to do alone. Shepherd of the Hills Church is honored to partner with parents as we teach children about Holy Communion and help nurture a lifelong relationship with Jesus. If your child is in 6th grade or older and has not yet participated in First Communion classes, we invite your family to take part in this important milestone.
First Communion classes will meet on Sunday evenings, March 1 and March 8, from 5–7 pm, with a final session on Sunday, March 22, from 12:30–2:30 pm. The Rite of First Communion will be celebrated during worship on March 29.
Registration is now open, and we would love for you to join us as your child takes this next step in faith. Please register here.
